This time last year, we were just welcoming our youngest in to the world and in to our family. We didn’t even have a name for her yet, we just knew that we loved her and everything was just complete. Our family puzzle had all of the pieces and we just fit together the way we were supposed to.
A year later and we are celebrating all of her milestones. Gone are the days of sanitizing bottles. Now she sits at the table with us and eats what we eat. She even eats more than her 3.5 year old sister on most days.
I remember when she would lay in my arms and just look at me. Now, she is a mover. She crawls and shimmies along couches like I’ve never seen before, and she is strong. When she is determined, it can be very difficult to hold on to her.
I am so thankful that she is healthy and happy, very happy. She loves her big sister and they giggle with each other all of the time. She takes all of her cues from her big sister from eating to playing and I love to watch them interact with each other when they think I am not looking.
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY Baby Bird. Your first year was such an adventure and I can’t wait to see what is in store for us this next year.
