Commit to Fit with Subway and Win/Win

This year has been about education for me. I’ve been consuming information about making healthier choices at a rapid rate. This summer I realized that knowledge, although still very important, isn’t what is going to get me to my goal of living a healthy lifestyle.

It’s commitment.

It is so easy to get on the healthy train and try something new, but after awhile, old cravings and triggers creep back in and without a solid commitment to my health, I cave in.

I am excited to share that I am a part of Carl’s Crew and am participating in Commit to Fit with Subway and I took the pledge on Facebook today. That was the easy part; clicking a link. Now comes the part where I see what I am made of. I will be sharing my Commit to Fit journey here over the next six weeks along with some great giveaways so you can participate too, and I am challenging myself to go past that on my own once I am done.

Carl Savard made a commitment to his fitness. By finding balance, adding fitness in to his daily routines, and making better choices like choosing Subway instead of other fast-food options while away on business, he was able to lose 100 pounds in ten months and went on to become a personal trainer. I am inspired and am honoured to be a part of his crew for the next month and a half.

Thank you for this great welcome package from Subway. I am already putting everything to good use. You may notice two gift cards there. I get to give one away, giveaway coming up shortly.

Over the next six weeks, I look forward to all of the additional knowledge that I get to absorb and I can’t wait to share it with you. I will be completing weekly challenges on my road to committing to my health and I’ll be sharing my progress. This week, I am challenged to add in 20 minutes of physical activity. Anyone want to go for a walk with me?

I hope you’ll head over the Subway’s Facebook page and take the Commit to Fit Pledge along with me. After you click the button and allow the app on your page, then you click it again to take the pledge if it doesn’t automatically load for you.

And if improving your health isn’t a good enough reason to take the pledge, here’s 10,000 more reasons. Everyone who takes the pledge will also be entered to win a $10,000 cash prize. Please see their page for full terms and information.

If you decide to take the pledge, leave a comment below and let me know.
