The Backyardigans: Christmas With The Backyardigans DVD Review

On Tuesday, October 5, Nick Jr. just released The Backyardigans: Christmas With the Backyardigans. The gang is back with more imaginative adventures in this special holiday DVD.

This release is the first holiday release for the Backyardigans. The Backyardigans are a group of friends who use their imaginations and backyards to go on adventures.

In the title episode, Santa’s magic sack has been taken and it is up to the Action Elves to use their toy-building skills to get it back.  Complete with dancing and singing to a Memphis Soul genre, this show was fun to watch.

The Backyardigans are always talking through their obstacles and working together to solve their problems and Baby Bird loves the dance routines.

I have some holiday DVDs that I look forward to pulling out each year and watching. This is a great DVD to add to a collection for Baby Bird to look forward to each year.

The four episodes included in this DVD are:

  • The Action Elves Save Christmas Eve
  • The Big Dipper Diner
  • Pablor and the Acorns
  • The Amazing Splashinis
  • Bonus: Music Video – I Love Snow Remix
  • Bonus: Gift Matching DVD Game

The DVD has a run time of 95 minutes.

This DVD is now available for purchase online at Amazon.ca for $15.49 and at Amazon.com for $12.99.
