Its time to get summer going with a slew of new items that are now available from President’s Choice. They are all detailed in the new edition of the PC Insider’s Report that is now available in store.
I am always eager to try the new items when they come out and this time was no exception. My favorite item so far out of all that I have tried is the new Lime and Jalapeño Avocado Dressing. I used it to create a fun summer taco salad that was ‘to die for’. We cooked up some ground beef with an Old El Paso Taco Seasoning pack (according to the directions on the pack). If you have more time, you can also create your own taco seasoning. We topped lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers with some tortilla chips, old cheddar and the beef mixture, then used this salad dressing. I had seconds and my mouth waters just thinking about the next time I get to have it again.
My daughters enjoyed the new cupcake kit that comes packaged with almost everything you need to make 24 cupcakes (12 chocolate and 12 vanilla). You only need to add eggs and oil. My oldest at 4 years old helped me to put the cupcake wrappers (included) in the tins. She also helped with measuring, mixing and pouring while our youngest at one year old held on the the bag with the sprinkles (included) in it. We tried the cupcakes, and they tasted great so we all decided to pack up the rest and share them with the people at my husband’s work. He said they went pretty fast.
