Packing school lunch is an art. You need foods that either don’t need to be kept in the fridge or heated up. They can’t be too messy and they need to be easy to carry. President’s Choice has a some new snack options that are sure to have your kids looking forward to lunch and snack time at school. And there is something for everyone.
We have been trying out some of the new snack options from President’s Choice and they are all a big hit with our oldest. If you are looking for some ideas to add to your child’s lunch box, check out these new items.
Little Penguins Soft Cookies – available in chocolate chip, banana bread and brownie, these cookies are in the shape of penguins. They are peanut-free and come in boxes of 12 for only $1.99 each. They are already individually wrapped for school lunches and they taste great!
Mini Cereal Bars – made by PC Organics, these cereal bars are smaller than the ones you would normally buy for yourself. This is great for portion control as our kids don’t need to eat the big bars we are used to. The bars are available in banana berry, blueberry carrot and apple / acai / yogurt. There are eight individually wrapped bars in a box and the box is priced right at $2.49.
Naturally Flavoured Fruit & Vegetable Snack – also made by PC Organics, these snacks are a fun treat to satisfy any sweet tooth and each snack contains 1/2 serving of fruit and vegetables. They come in mixed berry carrot and orange mango sweet potato flavours. There are 10 individually wrapped snacks in a box and they are priced at $2.49.
Also new to the President’s Choice food line is their PC Cheddar Little Penguins Snack Crackers. These are peanut-free and filled with a great cheesy taste. Perfect for snack time at home, in the car or at school and really affordable at $1.88 for a 200 g box.
Our daughter (and both of us) really like all of the new snack options listed here. They are full of flavour and reasonably priced which makes both kids and parents happy.
