PC Plus Perks over the Holidays

I was standing in line at President’s Choice a couple of days ago with my dad and as I was checking out and handing over my phone to add my PC points on to my account through the PC Plus app, a lady behind us asked “What are you doing there with your phone?”

Enter my ‘this is an awesome new way to get points and great offers from President’s Choice’ speech.

You see, I’ve become quite a fan of the app. Not only that, the last time I opened the app to check my offers, they were offers for items I always buy. I prefer lower sodium options and more natural ingredients, but they rarely have any coupons for them. This time, there they were.

Add to that that I was able to effortlessly get most of my baking done by using mixes and items from President’s Choice like my Red Velvet mini Cupcakes (and I found the perfect cream cheese icing for it online), gingerbread coockies, and my most recent White Chocolate Candy Cane Fudge. And everything I buy gets added to my points when I show my PC Plus app on checkout.

So as I was going through all of the different features of the PC Plus app, I noticed my audience grew. Of course it did, they were all PC shoppers. Who wouldn’t want to know how they could get even more points while checking out?

Getting points that you can use towards your future purchases is always a great idea and the app is free to download so you have nothing to lose. I’ll be saving up my points all year for our next holiday party next Christmas.

I am also LOVING the new app! Like you said, it’s full of items I am already buying so it’s a win win situation.. My own negative about the app – I like to use the self-check out at my RCSS (so I can watch prices as I ring up my items and have time to bag verses being rushed) and the app doesn’t work there – still need to use the card… which isn’t a big deal, but would be nice to have the option to use my phone!
