Otterbottle – Insulated Beverage Containers

I am a huge fan of Otterbottle. They began by creating environmentally friendly stainless steel water bottles with fun designs and in a variety of sizes.

Recently they have expanded their line and have included Insulated Beverage Containers to keep your beverages hot or cold.

I was sent an Insulated Beverage Container to try out and it comes to work with me every morning. I keep some herbal tea at work so I take the container in and make my tea in the morning when I first get in. I am really impressed with how well the container was thought out. The first time I made my tea I had to double check to make sure the water I put in was actually hot because the container itself shows no indication that it has hot liquid in it.

With hot liquid inside, it is cool to the touch. I had a busy day at work the first time I tried out my container and I didn’t get around to drinking my tea for 4 hours. When I opened it to take a sip, it was just as hot as the moment I poured in the water. I ended up having to wait another 30 minutes for it to cool so I could take my first sip. This is great for taking your liquids along with you.

If you find a style you like on their site, don’t wait too long to pick it up as they are always changing their designs. If you haven’t had a chance to check out their new product lines, take a look at their online store. The Insulated Beverage Containers come in six different designs and retail for $23.99 on their website. This is a sturdy, fantastic product and has replaced my old travel mugs. These beverage containers are built to last.

    Sheri,

It looks almost too fancy to drink out of!

These sound great. I’ve been looking for a new travel up and am loving the designs they have!

Love it!! Maybe that will be my treat for going back to work after my maternity leave ends next week. Sob!

Ahh, mat leave over. I remember that – it was so hard going back. On the one hand, it was nice to talk to adults, on the other, you are back at work :(

I like having things like my water bottle, my ‘new travel mug’ and thousands of pictures from home in my office – keeps me sane.

Best of luck heading back Carla.

    1) This is the coolest looking thermos I’ve ever seen.
    2) I wonder what’s wrong with the word “thermos” these days. Insulated Beverage Container – next they’ll be IBC’s – ugh.

It is super cool and stylish. Keeps my tea hot pretty much all morning.

I think its the whole copyright thing that Thermos has, like Q-Tips. Pssst! I say ‘Thermos’ too ;) They can copyright the other companies, but they can’t copyright the way we think.
