This weekend we kicked off our oldest’s birthday with a special breakfast inspired by Chef Stefano Faita. Found on the addjoy.nutella.ca website, the Nutella Breakfast Banana Split was perfect for a seven year old (and everyone else at the table).
First, just grab the ingredients from the Nutella website, and get started by cutting the banana in half, lengthwise. Add your Greek yogurt, and top that with Nutella.
Then add your fruit and extras of choice. We went with raspberries, blackberries, and granola.
You can find more of Chef Stefano Faita’s recipes at addjoy.nutella.ca. I am always looking for new ways to enjoy breakfast and Nutella can be paired with a lot of different food options such as toast, pancakes, and fruit to name a few.
You can also catch Chef Stefano Faita and Nutella this year at locations across Canada during the Nutella Summer Truck Tour.
Nutella Summer Truck Tour Information
Nutella will be heading across the country to add a little joy to the mornings of Canadians by sharing fresh samples of Belgian waffles and fruit skewers with Nutella. The tour started on June 27 in Toronto and runs to August 11, and will be hitting a city near you on the dates below.
Edmonton: July 23 – 26 at K-Days
Montreal: August 8 – 12 at Balloon Canada
Chef Stefano will be making an appearance at each of the event stops so now is your chance to meet him in person. Nutella samples, coupons, prizes and games will be available at the truck, and you can personalize your own Nutella label. That’s right, you can get your own name printed for your own jar of Nutella. Now you can say “Yes, it is mine. It’s got my name on it.”
I have to say that the Nutella Breakfast Banana Split recipe is one of my favourite breakfast choices right now.
