Walt Disney Studios will be releasing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Masquerade on DVD on Tuesday, February 8. Included in this DVD are five stories which includes a never-before-seen episode. You can purchase the DVD on its own, or it also comes as part of a set.
The ‘Mickey Mote’ is a remote control for your DVD player that is in the shape of Mickey’s head and features the left, right, up and down keys. It is easy to program to match your own remote and is used on the Discovery Mode. When the inter-active mode is chosen, your kids can use the remote to help Mickey and his friends answer questions throughout the show. There are two levels, a beginner and a more advanced so everyone can find something they are comfortable with. You also have the option to just watch the DVD without the special remote so there is no mandatory participation if it isn’t wanted. It is a fun extra to have for a child and Little Bird LOVED having her own remote during the show.
The episodes are filled with fun adventures and a lot of problem solving and they are a lot of fun for everyone to watch. The five episodes included in the DVD are:
- Minnie’s Masquerade
- Minnie’s Mouseke-Calendar
- A Surprise for Minnie
- Secret Spy Daisy
- The Friendship Team
Here’s a small clip from one of the episodes for you to check out.
This DVD is approximately 120 minutes (on auto play) and is available for pre-order online at Amazon.ca for $30.59 and at Amazon.com for $21.99. If you buy through pre-order, they will be sent out once they are released (Feb 8).
And, Disney Movie Rewards currently has a $5 off coupon for the Mickey Mote and DVD Play Set! The coupon is good in Canada and the US.
