Mabel’s Labels Review

When Baby Bird started daycare a few weeks ago, I had a list of things I needed to bring in for her. She also had a list of clothes that she needed extras of in case of spills during the day. I also needed to label her clothes with her name in case they should be mixed up. At the time, I had two options. 1) Label them with a thick black permanent marker, or 2) don’t label them at all and hope she doesn’t come home naked one day! Kidding. She would of course be changed into other clothes that had been left at the daycare, but you get my point!

I received the Ultimate Back-to-School Combo labels to try out from Canadian company Mabel’s Labels. Their slogan is “Labels for the stuff kids lose!” Julie Cole began Mabel’s Labels with three family members in an effort to keep tabs on their children’s ‘stuff’.

Ultimate PackThe Ultimate Back-to-School Combo comes with a pack of 50 Tag-Mates, 40 Skinny-Minis, 16 Shoe Labels and 2 NEW Teeny Tags and it retails for $39.00CDN. The labels are made with your child’s name, an icon and are designed with a great selection of colours for you to choose from. The labels are very durable, easy to apply and they are washable without coming off. I am using the labels in Baby Bird’s clothes, sippy cup, shoes, jacket and cream that are left or taken to her daycare. I am also planning on using the teeny tags on the zipper of her jacket to help her to learn to pull up her own zipper when she is ready.

Stop by the site if you get a chance and let me know what you would choose (if you can narrow it down to one).
