I am really excited about this post because I get to share three pieces of information with you and they all involve my favorite chocolate treat with the surprise inside.
1) My first item is that I have accepted a brand ambassador role (along with some other fantastic folks) with Kinder that will last approximately three months. I am really excited about this because I grew up with Kinder. It was always a special treat when I was a kid and it is still a special treat today in our family.
There are different ways you can enjoy Kinder Surprise. For me, I always eat the chocolate shell first. I can not sit idly by while there is creamy, yummy chocolate just sitting there, calling my name. Then I open the surprise toy and play with my treasure.
I know there are people out there who have the restraint to get to the toy first, then enjoy the chocolate, but I hear they are rare and hard to find. Are you one of them?
There are also those who are middle of road types. You break open the chocolate, pull out the surprise and set it up while eating the chocolate. Multitaskers!
2) The second thing I want to share is that Kinder Surprise has a brand new 2012 Toy Collection. The chocolate is still the same, but they are adding over 70 brand new toys. And some of these toys look ike they are super fun, including balloons that inflate, toys that float and stamps just to name a few. You can check out the Kinder Surprise Facebook Page to see a few of the new toys listed.
3) And while you are there, you will WANT to like Kinder Canada because my third piece of information is about how YOU can get a FREE Kinder Surprise of your own. Make sure you like the page, then keep checking back. There is a link on the left side of the page that says ‘Free Kinder Surprise Coupon’ near the end of August, they will be giving away 5000 coupons for a free Kinder Surprise to Facebook community. So make sure you sign up Canada!
We take time to celebrate all of the small victories during the day with our kids. Small moments that may have otherwise been overlooked. We have a few ways that we do this. Our first is to reflect on the small things at the end of the day. When we are getting ready for bed and reading books, I like to take a few minutes to acknowledge how our daughters are growing. Something as small as acknowledging that our oldest is using her words more instead of tears, or if she went out of her way to do something nice for someone without being asked to do it. This shows our daughter that we recognize her good behavior long after the even happened, and she goes to bed feeling good about herself and her day.
We also have a special day of the week – Friday! I know they are special for everyone, but our daughter has the added excitement of getting to pick out a special treat just for herself. Kinder Surprise are a great way of celebrating days like these because, being hollow, the chocolate isn’t too much for a preschooler, plus she gets the added surprise that holds her attention for awhile after.
I am interested in hearing from you. We all grew up with Kinder Surprise, and I want to know. Do you eat the chocolate first, then play with the toy? Enjoy both together? Or do you have the restraint to play with the toy first, then eat the chocolate?
