I JUST received an email in my inbox and had to share. But first some background…
This past fall, Mom Central announced a fantastic new program. A Grant program for bloggers who wanted to help make the lives of busy Moms and their families better.
I had been pondering the future of my website for a few months now and at the same time I had decided to make some changes (that I haven’t shared yet). I will still be featuring new and great products, and sharing tips and ideas on saving money, but I had some ideas for craft projects that I’ve been itching to complete and to share with all of you that will save families money.
So I applied, and just now, I received an email letting me know that I was chosen among the first 10 bloggers to receive a $250 Grant to use towards the posts I want to run.
And if you missed the application process, more are coming. Mom Central is giving away a total of $10,000 in Grants this year and the next round for Grant selection starts in February, so make sure you are a member of Mom Central Canada.
PS – Here’s my entry “I would like to write a series of posts about turning old, used adult clothes in to items for kids to help inspire parents to recycle their old clothes, save money and give their kids more items to use and play with.”
And stay tuned as I already have ideas floating around in my head for my posts.
A big THANK YOU to MomCentral for having such a fantastic program and for including me.
