Happy Birthday Freebies and Specials

Every year on or around my birthday I like to do a post about companies that offer birthday freebies and discounts that I know of.

So, yes, it is my birthday today. We actually celebrated on Friday because that was our day off and Papa Bird had to work this weekend. It was Papa Bird, Little Bird and I (and Baby Bird if you consider that he/she doesn’t have any say right now as to where they get to go). We ordered pizza, I got a cake and I made up goody bags for Papa Bird and Little Bird. Little Bird loves goody bags, so I thought she would appreciate it — She loved it and squeeled when she pulled a candy necklace out of hers!

So, for the birthday freebies I found this year:

  1. Swagbucks – I received an email this morning wishing me a happy birthday and sending 50 Swagbucks my way for turning a year older. If you get a chance, make sure you sign up and take a look around their site to make sure you are taking advantage of the ways that you can earn points because you can trade them in for prizes, gift cards and even cash.
  2. Sephora – This is always my favorite BDF because I like to pamper myself around my birthday. Go to the Sephora Beauty Insider site and check out this years birthday gift. It looks like this year it is Philosophy’s Vanilla Birthday Cake Shower Gel. There is no purchase necessary to redeem this BDF, but you will need to show ID with your birthday on it.
  3. Baskin Robins – Sign up for their Birthday Club and receive a free ice cream on your birthday.
  4. Denny’s – Stop in to Denny’s on your birthday and you will get a FREE Grand Slam breakfast. You will need to have valid ID that shows your pic and birth date to redeem. No coupon necessary.
  5. Joey’s – When you sign up to join their club online you get an email each year on your birthday that will give you the equivalent of your age in a discount off of your meal. So, giving everything away here, I would get 38% off my bill up to a value of $25. Your coupon will be emailed to you within the week before your birthday and is good for about 2 weeks from the date sent. You must show ID to get the discount.
  6. Red Lobster – You can join their club and receive a coupon for a free entree each year on your birthday. Your coupon will be emailed to you within the week before your birthday. Print out the coupon and show ID to redeem.
  7. Reb Robin – Red Robin Gourmet Burgers are located in Alberta and BC (and most US States). You can join their eClub to receive a coupon for a free burger each year on your birthday. Your coupon will be emailed to you within the week before your birthday and is good for about 2 weeks from the date sent. You need to show ID to redeem.
  8. Boston Pizza – You can join their email club to receive a coupon for a free gourmet pasta or dessert each year on your birthday. Your coupon will be emailed to you within the week before your birthday and is good for about 2 weeks from the date sent. You need your coupon and ID to redeem.
  9. Tony Roma’s – You can join their Birthday club and receive a coupon for a free entree each year on your birthday. Your coupon will be emailed to you within the week before your birthday and is good for about 2 weeks from the date sent. Print out the coupon and show ID to redeem. You will want to sign up for this early as these take about 6-8 weeks to process.
  10. Orange Julius – You can join their OJ Quench Club and receive a coupon for a free 16 oz Julius Fruit Drink each year on your birthday. Your coupon will be emailed to you one week before your birthday and is good for about 2 weeks from the date sent. Print coupon and present ID to redeem.
  11. Dairy Queen – You can join their Blizzard Fan Club and receive a coupon for a free 16 oz Blizzard treat when you purchase another blizzard treat each year on your birthday. Your coupon will be emailed to you within the week before your birthday and is good for about 2 weeks from the date sent.

There are probably more that I don’t know about but I posted the ones that are available in my area. If you know of any in your province, or area, feel free to share them below.

Have a great day everyone.
