I have been in design mode lately. Everywhere I go, I am looking for fun ideas that I can incorporate in to the home office I will be creating for myself this summer. So far, I have an antique table that I will be turning in to a desk (before and after post coming this summer), and I have been looking online at other furniture and accessories.
One of my favorite things to shop for is office supplies. Having brand new items on hand to do my work gives me a little jolt of energy. I love opening new packages and setting everything up. I was very excited to see that the Martha Stewart Home Office product line (with Avery) is now exclusively available in Staples stores across Canada.
Martha Stewart is known worldwide for her style, colour and overall versatility when it comes to new products and ideas. Martha Stewart is to design what Staples is to… well, office supplies. Partnering with Avery which is already a big name in office supplies and stationary, the Martha Stewart line brings fresh colours and beautiful products to help you organize and run your home or your office.
I actually owe my motivation for creating an office space for myself to Martha Stewart and Staples. When I first received the sample items to review for this feature, I looked at them, then looked around my (cough) office and I realized that these supplies deserved a real office. That I deserved a real office. Not a room with a bed and a living room table in it, but a real office that I could go to and create.
The Martha Stewart Home Office line includes:
- Binders and accessories
- Journals and notebooks
- Labels, tags and bands
- Sticky notes and note tabs
- Dry-erase sheets
- Stack and Fit desk accessories
For review, I received a selection of labels, ElastiNote tags (which are fantastic for labeling everything), file folders, sticky notes, an accordian file and an office storage container. I was a giddy geek the day this package arrived. The main colours of this line are a bright blue, silver, white and brown and some items come in red or black too. There are items available for the office, and for around the house to organize anything from recipes to family schedules and important papers. With tax time happening right now too, there are items that will make collecting and sorting all of those important papers a breeze.
To find out more about this product line, or to keep up to date with new announcements, make sure you like Staples Canada on Facebook.
So, what items do you like the most?
Disclosure: I received a selection of supplies from the Martha Stewart Home Office line for free to complete my feature. The opinions expressed in this post are mine only and are in no way influenced by any outside factors.
