Mother’s Day is right around the corner — literally! This Sunday children all over the world will be calling, mailing cards and sending gifts to their moms…
I am already a lucky mom to a 33 month old daughter and am about three and a half weeks away from being a mom to a second daughter.
Recently I was asked what I would want for Mother’s Day from Mark’s Work Warehouse, and normally a question like that would have me humming and hawing for over a week because of the wonderful selection there. This time there was no hesitation. I wanted something that would both be comfortable on a 36 week pregnant woman and that could be easily used after the baby was here.
I took a look through their new Look Book for Spring 2011 and fell in love with their Essential Long Hoodie in a vibrant coral colour.
Like everything I have ever owned from Mark’s, this Hoodie is top quality and very durable. It does not shrink in the wash and it holds it’s shape after wear and washing – which is really good if you are rapidly expanding like I am.
So you get to check me out now at 36 weeks pregnant in my new hoodie that I will be lounging around the yard in with my family this Mother’s Day. Seriously people, no ‘wide load’ comments, my emotions can’t take it.
The great thing about buying from Mark’s Work Warehouse is their return/exchange policy which is fantastic. If you are unsure of a size to get your mom, you don’t need to tell her what you are getting her just to ask what size she would like. If you don’t like an item due to size, fitting, etc, you can take it back in to any Mark’s across the country with or without a receipt and exchange it for either a better size, a different item or a refund (store credit if no receipt).
And if you are really unsure, gift cards are always a great option.
Mark’s also has some exciting things going on right now.
On Thursday, May 5 (tomorrow), Mark’s is having Ladies Night in their stores across the country. From 5:00pm until close, they are offering an extra 20% discount off of everything in their store (excluding gift cards).
Mark’s also has a contest going on right now called the Mark’s Spring reStyle Contest where they are inviting everyone to enter to win a spring makeover. Winners can choose one of three prizes valued at $5000. You can get more information and enter to win on their Facebook page.
And if that wasn’t enough excitement for you. I have a giveaway for This Bird’s Day readers too.
