Bluray/DVD Release: The Guilt Trip

Just in Time for Mother’s Day, Paramount Home Media Distribution releases The Guilt Trip on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Download and On Demand.

Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen work well together as mother and son as they embark on the mother of all road trips.

The_Guilt_Trip“As inventor Andy Brewster (Rogen) is about to embark on a road trip to sell his latest product, he feels compelled to invite his mother, Joyce (Streisand), along for the ride. Across 3,000 miles of adventure and antics both Andy and Joyce discover that while they have their differences, they also have more in common than they ever realized.

The Guilt Trip is now available in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack with UltraViolet™. The two-disc set comes packed with over an hour of hilarious bonus features including featurettes on Barbra and Seth, a look inside Barbra’s world, an alternate opening and ending, over 10 deleted scenes and an uproarious gag reel. The film will also be available as a single-disc DVD.”

I am a big fan of both Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand and I think they bring a great balance to this comedy. The subtle end to their road trip was heartwarming and overall, I thought it was a good movie. Once the movie was over though, I was left feeling a little confused by the title of the movie as there really wasn’t any feelings of ‘guilt’ in the movie. Title aside, everyone who watched the movie with me (including me), enjoyed it.
