Best Nail Lacquers This Season from OPI

With Mother’s Day quickly approaching and the warm weather already here, nail polish is being used in abundance in this household (by me). Who doesn’t love to have awesomely coloured toe nails to go along with this season’s newest sandal purchase?

OPI has a number of lines, colours and styles to decorate your fingers and tickle your toes. If you just get a card for Mother’s Day every year (and there is nothing wrong with a card or wish from the heart), you can dress it up with a new bottle of nail polish.

Check out these new must-haves.

OPI Matte Top Coat 20130509-154054.jpg
Tone any nail polish colour down and add a level of depth with OPI’s newest style, matte. This top coat takes the shine out of your polish and creates a soft, stunning look. I like the matte top coat most when using it over a dark colour as I find it is more noticeable.

  • Matte Top Coat contains no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde. This product includes OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush for the ultimate in application.

OPI Matte Top Coat has been available since April 2013, at Professional Salons and Spas across Canada for $10.95 CAN suggested retail.

This limited edition line also includes OPI’s Liquid Sand technology. “OPI Liquid Sand nail lacquer offers a never-before-seen look with a pebbled finish that lightly shimmers with fine glitter particles. Worn without top coat, Liquid Sand lacquer gives nails a unique textured matte finish worthy of a superstar.”

The Liquid Sand colours shown (with the black and grey caps) starting with the top row and going clockwise are ‘Stay the Night’, ‘Get Your Number’, ‘The Impossible’, and ‘Can’t Let Go’.

This limited edition promotion has been available since January 2013 at Professional Salons and Spas for $10.95 CAN suggested retail for each nail lacquer.

Oz The Great and Powerful Collection
20130509-164142.jpgYou just know that a set of nail lacquers that are inspired by the new movie are really going to rock. Filled with gentle, pure colours and sparkles that scream ‘magic’, this is a fun collection to own.

Shown on the left, this collection also features one lacquer in OPI’s new Liquid Sand technology.

This collection features (top row from left to right) ‘Lights of Emerald City’, ‘Don’t Burst My Bubble’, ‘When Monkeys Fly’, ‘Glints of Glinda’, (bottom row from left to right) ‘Which is Witch’, ‘I Theodora You’, and ‘What Wizardry Is This’.

This limited edition promotion has been available since March 2013 at Professional Salons and Spas for $10.95 CAN suggested retail for each nail lacquer.

Now get out and find a shade that screams “MOM”.
