I was wandering around the grocery store last night trying to come up with a new idea for a breakfast smoothie for our girls. My smoothies are never the same and I love trying new ingredients that I had never though of before.
Enter ‘the avocado’.
Avocados have a lot going for them as a good food choice. They have more potassium than bananas, and they also contain folic acid, vitamin K, B6, C, and E and more.
The smoothie turned out great and my daughter (who can be known for her pickiness) enjoyed it and drank everything I gave her, even after she saw what went into it.
- 3 cups Almond Fresh Chocolate Milk
- 1 cup Almond Fresh Coconut Milk
- 2 Bananas
- 1/2 Avocado
- Add all ingredients to a blender and mix until smooth.
